Brick X Brick
I co-produced, directed, edited, and filmed a short news piece on a group of women who dressed up as "bricks" to protest against presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The piece was published on attn:, a media company that breaks down important societal topics and conversations into digestible, entertaining videos and series across all platforms.
A Different Script
I co-produced, directed, filmed (using a C100), and edited (using Adobe Premiere) "A Different Script," a documentary that delves into the intersection of the worlds of disability and the entertainment industry through the perspective of Chris Lopes, a 20-year-old actor with Down syndrome.
My documentary partner and I successfully raised over $16,000 through two Kickstarters. Additionally, we were awarded a grant of $1,000 from The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. With various other funding sources, we secured a working budget of $20,000.
We collaborated with Clear Cut Supervision, a rights clearinghouse, to obtain the necessary rights to a variety of media clips featured in our film. "A Different Script" has garnered several awards for best documentary in various film festivals.
